Abstract :
In determining how Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation(CES)can best be used as a therapeutic tool, it is important to research its stimulating effect with the administration of various CES waveform shapes and frequencies. To meet CES research needs, this paper focused on designing a CES system outputting waveforms of arbitrary shape and different frequencies. The result showed that CES researchers could set different stimuli output waveform via this system, output current had a good linearity and precision control. Also the frequency range and the current range meet CES requirements. This system is very suitable for researching stimulation effectiveness of CES with different parameters.
