Abstract :
This paper proposes a colonic peristalsis signal extraction method based on wavelet analysis, and the peristaltic pressure signal of the colon can be effectively separated from the interference signals by using this method. A noninvasive wireless electronic capsule is developed and used in clinical trial, and the parameters of human gastrointestinal (GI) tract under normal physiological state could be obtained by the electronic capsule. A clinical trial is carried on to study colonic peristalsis energy (CPE) of different people, and the result shows that the CPE of the subjects whose colon movement function are abnormal is significantly lower than healthy people.
