            Abstract : 
A generalized fading model is introduced which combines a diffuse Nakagami-m scatter and a LOS component. Solutions for the PDF of the proposed fading model are found in terms of infinite series and as a finite sum in terms of the hypergeometric functions. The behaviors of the diffuse Nakagami-m with LOS fading are investigated and are shown to be significantly different from the behaviors of Rice and Nakagami-m distributions. The bit error rate (BER) of a binary phase shift keying (BPSK) system operating in diffuse Nakagami-m with LOS fading is derived, and is compared to the BERs of BPSK systems operating in Nakagami-m and Rice fading channels.
