Abstract

A system and methods for providing high-quality media convergence service provision for home appliances in a cloud computing environment are described. The system includes a streaming based cloud media transmission system and thin/zero client type display. We describe streaming-based high-quality media convergence service system, functional architecture and applications. Our system provides high-definition media-oriented contents remotely to various home appliances. The contents server can be a remote cloud server or home network gateway.
