Abstract :
ADS-B (automatic dependent system — broadcast) is the new GPS based aircraft traffic information system being adopted worldwide through ICAO. This paper presents a unique approach for direct long range tracking and robust wideband data links suitable for line of sight and relay systems for ocean monitoring equipment with a range of over 100 miles per link. The equipment is Low power, low cost and small enough to fit on a type I UAS
