Abstract
An arcade gun has been one of game controllers activated in video game markets since 1970s. The arcade gun partially used in home video game console and penny arcade is utilized as interface for realistic media and interactive system in recent days. However, the conventional arcade gun has a disadvantage that it cannot be used in large screen due to restriction of hardware and cannot be applied to various contents as an independent module due to platform dependency. This paper establishes an arcade gun system based on infrared camera to solve this disadvantage, and proposes a interpolation algorithm that can be applied to various environments.
