  • Abstract
    The paper first discusses the numerical capabilities of the DG-FDTD method. An analytical formulation is proposed to assess the size of the largest possible computational volume. Then, a recently proposed hybrid method, called DG-FDTD/IPO, which extends the DG-FDTD application is presented. Its capability to deal with antenna-on-platform problems is demonstrated for a canonical scenario scenario.
