Abstract

In this paper, a CPW-fed slotted elliptical shaped antenna with triple band characteristics has been presented. The elliptical shaped antenna without slot has resulted in UWB response. The investigated antenna consists of circular slot with rectangular stubs in elliptical radiating patch to generate triple band characteristic. This antenna has been designed using IE3D electromagnetic simulator. The antenna resonates at three frequencies with good bandwidth and radiation patterns in the pass bands and also has compact size.
