Abstract :
This paper researched ethanol combustion under different oxygen concentration. Experiments show that, at 20.95% and 20% oxygen concentration, ethanol boiling in the combustion and cause the rapid increase of the flame height, similar with the combustion of alcohol burner. With the decreasing of oxygen concentration, the continuous burning time of ethanol increases. The minimum oxygen concentration that ethanol can be ignited is 15.0%.
