Abstract :
AHP is adopted for horizontal and vertical comparative analysis on regional development condition of eight minority autonomous prefectures in Yunnan province in recent 15 years in the paper. Relative strengths, weaknesses and evolution of regional competitiveness in the eight autonomous prefectures are analyzed according to regional competitiveness comprehensive ranking. GIS technology is applied for explaining and analyzing spatial and temporal differences in regional competitiveness of the autonomous prefectures from 1995 to 2010 on the basis. Results showed that Hong he Prefecture, Dali Prefecture and Chuxiong Prefecture have the strongest regional competitiveness followed by Wenshan Prefecture, Xishuangbanna Prefecture and Dehong Prefecture, and Diqing Prefecture and Nujiang Prefecture have the weakest influence.
