Abstract
A LED urban lighting control system based on POWERLINK bus is proposed in this paper, which achieves real-time data communication between numerous LED urban lighting control units and the master. It supports hot swap and has good scalability and portability. The overall structure of this system and the implementation of hardware and software are shown. The testing indicates the data transmission time is shortened and the error rate is reduced significantly. This system can be extended to other areas of the city control.
