Abstract :
We have studied the integrated CAD/CAM framework, the craft process design and realization, the construction of CAM sub-system and the machining simulation of NC tools. By constructing CAM sub-system of precise CNC tool, we realized three modes to convert the features information into NC program: designing CAPP craft process for precise CNC tool, completing CAPP mapping and providing process knowledge generation and feature machining modules extraction. NV machining program is based on NC feature machining modules which makes the conversion from CAD feature information to NC programs. Simvk0010 is used to finish dynamic simulation of NC tool machining, and to check the correctness of NC program. So we can obtain rapid manufacturing of general tools satisfying the machining conditions of NC machining center.
