Abstract :
The visitor experience is the core of tourism. The improvement of the travel quality and travel experience through information technique helps to improve the cultural quality and business efficiency levels of tourist attractions. This paper analyzed the characteristics and advantages of guide system based on GIS technology and traditional Tourism Interpretation System, studied the application of 360° panoramic tour explanations, developed a cloud-based information platform for tourism resources, and built a scenic virtual information system with automatic explanation. The results showed that application of GIS and 360° panoramic techniques in the scenic explanation promoted the process and effect of tourism experience, which conformed to tourists´ purposes. In the meantime, tourists possess the condition and ability to operate the system. It is a technological way worth promoting at current trend of scenic intelligence.
