Abstract
The principle of discrete Fourier transform is applied to minimize the maximum absolute value of coupled mode coefficient for multichannel FBG. Phase constants for each uniform grating inscribing in the same fiber core section are found analytically. The described approach allows refractive index optimization of multichannel FBG with arbitrary number of equidistantly distributed spectral peaks.
