Abstract :
To ensure the safety of pilots, ejection seat should have the protective properties while the aircraft is in high altitude, high-speed, low-adverse attitude or other complex conditions. The key technology to study this problem is determining the aerodynamic coefficients of ejection seat. The main method for obtaining aerodynamics coefficient for ejection seat is test. However, because of the seat´s irregular shape and the complex state of its motion, using this method to obtain aerodynamic coefficients that ejection seat under all attitudes is impossible. This article created a CAD model of ejection seat and then meshed it. Based on the computer-aided fluid field, aerodynamic coefficient has been obtained by numerical simulation.
