Abstract :
We present a unique Si photonics platform with butt-coupled III-V and SOI waveguides fabricated in a wafer-scale CMOS process. This enables high-efficiency lasers, modulators, photodetectors, and tuning-free Mux/Demux, which is ideal for TB/s optical interconnects.
