  • Abstract
Classical Coulomb´s law relates electric field intensity at a point to its distance from the origin. An algorithm based on this law to determine the trajectory of a moving charged particle using least square estimation approach is described. The method provides sustainable estimation at moderate signal to noise ratio. The algorithm serves as a justification for the effectiveness of the LSE over other estimation techniques. Numerical simulations are provided to demonstrate the validity of algorithm and its various aspects.
