Abstract :
A directly-modulated colorless laser diode based pre-amplified 64-QAM-OFDM transmission at 30Gbit/s is demonstrated with optimized SNR of 21.6 dB and EVM of 8.3 % to provide spectral efficiency of 6 bit/sec/Hz and BER of <;2.5×10-3.
