Abstract
Absorber materials are often used to increase bandwidth of wideband antennas. Because these absorbers are used in the near-field of the antenna, dielectric properties are required in the EM models. In this paper we measure the permitivity and permeability of several commercial materials, both carbon and ferrite based. A modified Debye relationship is used to fit the data.
