  • Abstract
    This paper an embedded EBG ground controlled compact dual mode tunable band pass filter has been presented. Filter operating band can be dynamically tuned by switching on or off the RF switches between the via pad and ground plane. The tunability and the average fractional BW is found to be 24% and 15%, respectively. Paper also describes the behavior of the tunability for some selected switch configurations.
