  • Abstract
    A star image fusion method based on coordinate transformation is presented for a multi-FOV star sensor. By using coordinate transformation, simulated star images are generated and images from different FOVs are fused in the same coordinate system. Star image fusion is combined with triangle algorithm which is widely applied, and the star recognition method is improved for multi-FOV star sensor. The result of simulation shows that the recognition accuracy rate is higher than 95%, which satisfies the requirement of the actual application. The performance of multi-FOV star sensor is superior to that of single-FOV star sensor obviously.
