Abstract :
Directing at our country´s current situation of water resources shortage, this article sets forth the necessity and urgency for developing a water-saving campus park and garden. And in terms of water-saving irrigation technique, utilization of natural rainfall, reclamation of recycled water, application of water saving plants, optimization of plant furnishing, reinforce of maintenance management etc, the article sums up the water-saving measures adopted by Tsinghua University for the construction of the water-saving campus park and garden and puts forward the present existing problems in the construction of the water-saving campus park and garden.
