Abstract :
Novel hybrid PON architectures are demonstrated to provide multi-grained bandwidth allocation (MGBA), flexible service, and channel fault monitoring feature. It can be applied to construct energy-efficient broadband access that supports both fixed/mobile backhaul and fronthaul.
