Abstract :
A broadband photonic Analog-to-Digital Converter based on high frequency optical sampling utilizing a dual-output-Mach-Zehnder modulator operating with frequencies up to 50-GHz is presented. The ADC performance is characterized with 8.0 ENOB at 40-GHz.
