Abstract
In this paper, we experimentally demonstrate wireless transmission of 405nm, 968Mbit/s optical Intensity Modulation / Direct Detection - Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (IM/DD-OFDM) signals over 2m underwater channel using developed FPGA-based real-time transmitter. The transmission in the underwater channel can achieve lower EVM same as in open-air channel.
