Abstract
We propose Petabit scalable optical switching node with subband accessibility for elastic optical networks. We experimentally demonstrate the subband aggregation and switching on 17.4 Tb/s 16-QAM single-carrier frequency division multiplexing superchannel. Total node throughput of 0.278 Pb/s is achieved.
