  • Abstract
    We experimentally demonstrate a self Q-switched Bismuth-doped germanosilicate fiber laser without using saturable absorbers. Self Q-switched, ~1.8 μs pulses with a temporal width of is shown to be obtainable at a repetition rate of ~65 kHz.
