Abstract :
An improved holographic-type four-port optical circulator is proposed with a small-aperture Faraday rotator window. Its prototype was assembled with insertion losses of 2.12-2.19 dB, isolations of 11.91-47.91 dB, and return losses of 14.26 dB.
