Abstract :
We propose and theoretically verify an efficient enhancement mechanism of the transverse magneto-optical Kerr effect (TMOKE) in magneto-photonic gratings. We demonstrate ten times larger TMOKE response and four times higher reflectivity as compared with magneto-plasmonic gratings.
