Abstract
We demonstrate a novel coherent digital-self-homodyne detection scheme with 4/16/64-QAM signals. The proposed receiver is insensitive to laser linewidth, signal polarization state and modulation format. Resilience to fiber nonlinearities is also improved by 3.5dB.
