Abstract
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) are emerging as significant technologies for future optical communications. This paper presents some key aspects of OFDM and MIMO for intensity-modulated direct-detection optical systems.
