Abstract
SAR (synthetic aperture radar) images have been successfully used in change detection in different conditions. A systematic survey of the generally used methodologies for unsupervised change detection based on SAR images are presented in this paper. Speckle suppression, which is essential in SAR image change detection, is discussed and all unsupervised change detection approaches are classified into three categories: thresholding, clustering and 0-1 programming.
