Abstract
Online discussion in educational social networks can be considered an application of the social constructivism theory. In fact, social constructivism is applicable to all educational contents and activities, including social networking activities. In this paper we present a case study of using social networks for online discussions in a university level course and discuss the results of this case. We also provide some recommendations drawn from this case study on how to enrich educational online discussions in social networks.
