Abstract
With the growing advancement in technology and wide range of courses offered, there is a growing demand for e-learning in the global market. From the traditional classroom lecture in schools and universities and training modules given in organizations, e-learning through the use of electronic media has brought a significant change in the learning process providing new opportunities and being available at any time and any place But how effective are these new technologies as perceived by students and trainees or employees, what are their benefits, and the impact and challenges faced by the learners have been discussed in this paper.
