Abstract :
The work described here introduces a novel approach to utilize interactive video content to create an interactive e-learning experience. It provides students a comprehensive tool to directly interact with items that are part of the video content and conveniently access supplemental information using open web technologies. Related content and more detailed information can be added and linked with video to broaden the user experience and help students to understand complex topics. Thus, an interactive, time independent navigation through video opens new ways to experience and interact with e-learning content.
