Abstract :
The CSNS (China Spallation Neutron Source) RCS (rapid cycling proton synchrotron) RF (Radio Frequency) remote control system is a DCS (distributed control system) system based on the EPICS (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System). This system is used to remotely control and monitor the accelerating cavities and their accessory equipments of the rapid cycling proton synchrotron (RCS) for CSNS. This kind of the remote control system is composed by an EPICS IOC (input output controller) in VxWorks for LLRF (low level RF control system), an IOC in Linux for bias supplies, a File server in Linux, a CA (Channel Access) server in Windows for RF power supplies and a database channel archiver. All parameters of CSNS RCS RF systems are exported to LAN (local area network) as PVs (process variables) which can be access from OPIs (operator interfaces) in the local control room and the central control room.
