Abstract :
The Integrated Load Management (ILM) system was conceptualized to reduce peak requirements on plants and optimize generation into their “sweet spots”. With the aid of distributed generation and controllable loads, the ILM, a Virtual Power Plant (VPP) contributes to a reliable and environmentally oriented energy supply. This paper examines the implementation of a VPP based on Siemens Demand Response Management System (DRMS) and Decentralized Energy Management System (DEMS).
