Abstract
With the rapid development of mobile communication technology and mobile terminals enhancements, people pay more attention to the location-based service which is based on mobile networks and terminals. This paper presents a practical, feasible solution to implement the system of map function and positioning function according to the actual needs of the user. The implemented system includes many functions based on the ArcGIS Server map platform combined with the WEBGIS technology and LBS technology. Combining with the commonly used shortest path algorithm´s time complexity and the practical application demand, a kind of map generalization path algorithm is proposed to improve the response speed of the algorithm, and reduce operation time. The implemented system has been successfully put into operation, the practical running results show that the system can meet the practical requirement, reach the design requirements.
