Abstract :
This paper summarizes and analyzes network access control technology in the view point of engineering application. And it analyzes and describes the technical framework of 802.1×, Trusted Network Connection, and Network Access Protection. It made analysis of the engineering application methods with the above technologies based on openness, compatibility and adaptability. The key of Network Access Control system design is to select and realize four policy executive technologies including 802.1×, gateway, firewall and Virtual Private Network. Finally, this paper summarizes the key elements needed to focus in Network Access Control selection and design.
