  • Abstract
    In this paper, a special antenna array is constructed, then present a direction of arrival (DOA) estimation method for a very wide frequency band (2-18GHz) commensurate with electronic warfare environment. By adding an appropriate auxiliary sensor on a uniform linear array, the method can overcome the limitation of half wavelength spacing. Under the spatial sub-Nyquist sampling, the proposed method provides a high accuracy non-ambiguous DOA estimation. Also, the proposed method has a low computational complexity as it does not need the spectral peak search and extra pairing algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
