Abstract :
The I/CCN (Information Centric Networking) architecture has attracted in the last years a lot of interest from various research teams around the world, as an emerging alternative to established technologies, with the hope to improve many aspects of present networking limitations. While CCN has its own problems, we do consider that for some special communication areas this technology could be beneficial, making a real difference for network related applications, both on client and server side. In the present paper, the authors will mainly extend and validate, with simulation results, their architectural proposal related to a network design for financial markets (stock trading), that can be found in [1].
