Abstract
Data-intensive cloud computing offers an abstraction of high availability, usability, and efficiency while processing petabytes of data. As individual users do not have sole control on cloud resources, it may lead to concerns regarding the trustworthiness of the resources used. In this paper, we propose a trustworthiness analysis framework that adapts software attestation mechanisms and heartbeat messages to evaluate the current status of virtual machine in cloud computing to know trustworthiness of the resources.
