Abstract :
A new numerical method to construct the global Lyapunov function is briefly introduced in this paper. Our method relies on the transversal boundaries in dynamical systems, which could be applied to different types of attractors in different dimensions. We illustrate our method through the example of a two dimensional limit cycle. The structure of global Lyapunov function is consistent with the dynamics of the system.
