Abstract :
Students in industrial control need to learn design and analyze their own experiments. In train of system design, the tutor cannot guide every student. This paper describes a computer-based approach applied to a laboratory course in industrial control systems. Based on PC-LabCard and intranet, experimental teaching system have been developed. Students can thus acquire experience in the real behaviour of the various industrial-type subsystems. Teaching system allows students to build experiments on their own design. The tutor monitors the course and results in real time. The experiment become standard for every trainer. The system provided interactive tools for understanding complex concepts.
