            Abstract : 
From the embedded equipment, embedded mobile database and the characteristics of GIS, in line with full use of embedded equipment resources design ideas, designed a complete, high efficient database based on embedded GIS system architecture. In the nuclear framework of this system structure, according to the visitor design pattern, the spatial index interface is designed; the spatial index module is implemented using the Packed R-tree data structure and algorithms; and based on the adapter design pattern, index structure and spatial data are accessed and persisted in the relational table. According to the application in our own GIS platform, the results indicate that it can improve query efficiency, enhance storage management ability, and is provided with better extensibility and flexibility.
