Abstract :
Vibration testing is performed to provide the test item vibration environments expected in its shipment and application environments. It is desirable to evaluate the accuracy of the measurement. Uncertainty indicating the dispersion of the values of the quantity is one of the important parameters to evaluate the quality of the measurement. In this paper, the procedure of vibration measurement is presented, and the mathematical model is built up. The mathematical model characterizes the sources of uncertainty besides the noises in each transmission sector. The overall uncertainty is obtained through rigorous analytical method in this paper.
