Abstract
This paper presents a voltage-model controlled forward converter circuit which is different from the previous investigated chaotic circuits. The power transformer is modeled in Pspice program. On basis of the model, we built a simulation circuit of the forward converter. When the converter is operated chaotically, the spectrum peaks of inductor current and capacitor voltage, especially in high frequency are greatly reduced and therefore EMC is apparently improved, compared with the periodic cases.
