Abstract :
This paper discusses the mechanism of CBR (case-based reasoning), placing emphasis on its application in car concept design. The concept and method of the acquirement of dynamic case-based knowledge are put forward. This paper tries to induce CBR into car concept design and established the case-based reasoning expert system for concept design of economical Car (ESCDEC). To date, this attempt is yielding satisfactory results
