Abstract :
In order to forecast the performance of ship on the ocean, it is necessary to study ocean wave. The main purpose of this paper is that it is realistic and real-time to simulate ocean wave when wind changing. A grid model of concentric sectors is proposed to replace ocean surface geometry. The model of ocean wave in a deep and fully developed ocean is analyzed by using frequency spectrum and directional spectrum. Finally the simulation is programmed with Open Graphic Library (OpenGL). The experimental results show that the proposed method is effective and can satisfy the requirements of the real-time simulation of ocean wave in different ocean wave conditions.
