Abstract :
Compared with other gyros, MEMS gyros have a lot of unique advantages, such as mini size, low cost and low power. However, the low precision property has seriously prevented its application in a vast range of potential fields and thus, great efforts have been made to improve the precision of MEMS gyro. Since the DSP can reach a faster processing speed than single chip, we make use of the Digital Signal Processor chip to form a simplified data collection circuit. To compensate the steady error in the output signal of gyros, an appropriate scaling technique is applied to the recorded static and dynamic outputs. Besides, we present a digital filter to weaken the influence of the stochastic noise.
